It’s so true that we see value in something with a high
price tag simply because it has a high price tag. Even when we
don’t buy, we tend to view the thing with the higher price as being “better.” The seller doesn’t necessarily have a higher cost
in making the item, but they decided to see a high value in it,
and therefore so do consumers. (Just something to keep in mind
when considering how much you value yourself in the face of
others)

I just read that same quote yesterday just as I was pining for a filofax $69 planner. Since I didn’t know what kind of organization system it had, I went with a day-planner that was $30 that had a basic set up i wanted. Good thing to keep in mind really.
